About the role
Calvary Hospital Riverina are seeking a Clinical Nurse Specialist of General Surgery to join our growing perioperative team. This position is a full time Monday to Friday role, with some on call expectations.
Your main duties will include:
- To assist in leading and educating in the perioperative environment
- Collaboration with Medical Officers, Managers and Clinical staff
- Assisting with procurement and management of stock for specialty
- Adhering to national, perioperative and infection control standards
About you
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
- Strong experience and knowledge in General Surgery and the Perioperative environment
- Demonstrated team work, communication and collaboration skills
- Strong understanding of perioperative and infection control standards
- Post graduate qualifications in perioperative nursing (desired)
