About the role
 
The role is fulltime, based in Sydney or Melbourne and includes interstate travel. Ability to work from home. The role forms part of the Calvary National and Home Care Clinical Governance & Quality Team. This role may appeal to clinicians with extensive experience working in a variety of clinical settings including Hospitals, Residential Aged Care or Home Care.  
 
Your main duties will include:
  • Co-ordinate and work collaboratively with stakeholders to achieve NSQSHC, ACQSC and NDIS accreditation.
  • Implement systems and processes to embed best practice clinical guidelines, legislation and standards into practice through high quality policy and procedures and training programs   
  • Actively monitor, report, identify and drive opportunities for improvement through internal auditing and clinical and quality outcome data
 
About you
  • AHPRA Registered Nurse
  • Extensive experience in clinical care provision, governance, consultation and leadership roles
  • Experience leading, co-ordinating and achieving NSQHC Standards and/or Aged Care Standards accreditation
  • Evidence of commitment to ongoing professional development and current knowledge of health care sector and clinical best practice 
  • Experience with complaint, reportable or serious clinical incident investigations (inc RCA’s), report writing, continuous improvement planning and communication of shared leanings 
  • Ability to work across multiple systems and regions with a range of stakeholders
