About the role
This full time role, working Monday to Friday in standard business hours, will ensure safe, high quality and sustainable commonwealth funded community aged care services at Calvary Health Care Kogarah (CHCK). The Community Aged Care Manager will provide future focused strategic leadership of all commonwealth funded community aged care programs and operational leadership / management of members of the Transitional Aged Care Program Team.
Your main duties will include:
- Provide effective operational management of a multidisciplinary team including rostering, leave management, supervision, performance development.
- In collaboration with the Director of Allied Health and Non-Admitted Care, develop and communicate a strategic direction for commonwealth funded community aged care services aligned to CHCK’s vision, strategies and organisational values, to ensure achievement of objectives and agreed outcomes.
- Ensure CHCK delivers values based health care in alignment with the Transitional Aged Care Program, Commonwealth Home Support Program and any other commonwealth funded community aged care program guidelines
About you
- Relevant tertiary Qualifications in healthcare management or relevant equivalent experience, or a combination of study and work experience.
- Demonstrated experience in managing community or health service programs such as Transitional Aged Care Program or Commonwealth Home Support Program, with responsibility for service delivery, budgets, workforce, and performance within legislation and program frameworks.
- Proven ability to manage and support a multidisciplinary team, planning and coordinating work, coaching and developing staff, and managing performance, including the ability to achieve performance targets, reporting deadlines and other key performance indicators (KPIs).
