About the role
 
The CSSD driver/Sterile Stock Assistant will support the transport of reusable medical devices between the main perioperative complex and the day surgery. This role will involve driving a Calvary vehicle to deliver road carts containing equipment between the sites.  The role will also provide support and assistance to the sterile stock team.
 
Your main duties will include:
  • Driving stock between the main hospital and the surgicentre 
  • Collecting or delivering equipment to Wagga Wagga Base Hospital or surrounding sites
  • Assistance with theatre set up and sterile stock management
  • Comply with state and federal laws associated with use of a motor vehicle
About you
  • NSW Driver licence, minimum P2, with evidence of safe driving record.
  • NSW Police record check and Working with Children check
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated contribution to teamwork and quality and safety initiatives
