Fixed Term - approximately 9 month project

  • Nursing - Nurse Manager Grade 3, Year 1 - 2
  • Allied Health - Health Services Manager 3 (negotiable depending on enterprise agreement)

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking 3 Clinical Leads across our 3 key areas of Medical, Nursing and Allied Health to join the CMN SDPR Project team to provide expert clinical knowledge, advice, guidance and support in the implementation of SDPR to ensure the delivery of the program for Calvary Mater Newcastle. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work closely with CMN Clinical Leads and Hunter New England Local Health District (HNELHD) Clinical Leads to ensure that SDPR provides our clinicians with a trusted and safe clinical solution to support the continued delivery of quality care to patients.
• Lead, develop and inform clinical engagement to implement effective organisational change for the transformation of clinical services and business practices for CMN
• Provide support and coaching to relevant clinical managers, within your specialty, as they help their direct reports through transitions.
• Identify opportunities for improvement in clinical practice prior to the roll out of SDPR and lead the development/review of policies, procedures, standards and practices in order to ensure continuity of care once the roll out occurs.

WHAT YOU BRING

• Relevant tertiary qualifications, including AHPRA registration.
• Demonstrated excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills including highly developed ability to consult, negotiate and delegate effectively with a diverse range of people.
• Excellent organisational, analytical and complex problem-solving skills with the ability to effectively manage competing priorities to ensure quality outcomes and timely delivery of services.
• Demonstrated experience in clinician and manager coaching.
