We're looking for someone who has put data for AI into production and kept it there. They will lead our data science team and build our capability to support and maintain the new technologies being implemented.

Your main duties will include:
  • Provide strategic and hands‑on leadership in the design, development and deployment of machine‑learning and advanced analytical solutions.
  • Drive the productionisation of AI models, ensuring reliability, scalability, security and regulatory compliance within a healthcare environment.
  • Lead the resolution of complex, ambiguous data problems with a pragmatic, solution‑oriented and innovative approach.

About you
  • Proven senior leadership experience leading and scaling data science or advanced analytics teams within a complex enterprise environment.
  • Demonstrated success delivering AI or machine‑learning solutions into production, including accountability for model lifecycle management, operational robustness, monitoring and continuous improvement (AI Ops / MLOps).
  • Strong hands‑on data science capability, including advanced statistical analysis, data modelling and applied machine learning, with the ability to personally guide and assure complex analytical work.
  • Experience operating in regulated environments, preferably healthcare, government or similarly complex sectors, with a strong understanding of data privacy, governance, risk and compliance obligations.
  • Highly developed communication and stakeholder engagement capability, with a demonstrated ability to explain complex analytical and AI concepts clearly to executives, clinical leaders, technical teams and non‑technical stakeholders, and to build trusted, collaborative relationships.
  • Strategic, values‑led leadership approach, aligned with mission‑driven organisations, demonstrating sound judgement, ethical application of data and AI, and a strong commitment to stewardship and organisational values.
  • Tertiary qualified in a quantitative subject such as data science, statistics, mathematics or demonstrable equivalent experience
