About the role:
This fixed term part time role is based in Kogarah, NSW. The position reports operationally to the Director of Allied Health and Non Admitted Care and professionally to the Rehabilitation and Palliative Care Services Manager. Rostered hours are between Monday-Friday 0800 - 1700. Days of the week and spread of hours are negotiable.
Selection criteria:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia and the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA), and current NSW Driver’s License.
- Minimum five years full time equivalent post qualification experience, including at least three years full time equivalent experience in aged care and/or rehabilitation including provision of care for people with dementia and their carers.
- Proven clinical leadership skills and an ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary framework with a demonstrated commitment to excellence in nursing practice.
- Demonstrated effective communication and inter-personal skills across a variety of mediums and an understanding of the practice development framework.
- Proven ability to implement changes and develop direction in clinical practice by the utilisation of evidence-based research.
- Demonstrated skills in clinical teaching, competency in the use of contemporary information systems and experience in the development of specialty education programs.
- Demonstrated clinical expertise in client-centred consultancy with the ability to work independently.
- Ability to work within the Mission and Values of Calvary Health Care Kogarah.
