What will I do and who will I work with?
 
The Executive Assistant to the General Manager is responsible for providing high-level executive support services to the General Manager, contributing to the efficient delivery of hospital services.

The role encompasses a broad range of responsibilities, including but not limited to executive assistance and the provision of high-level organisational and administration support to the wider Executive team. The Executive Assistant acts as the primary coordinator for the General Manager and provides administration support to the Director of Mission Integration and the Public Affairs and Communications team.

The Executive Assistant is expected to demonstrate leadership and provide mentorship to others in similar roles, contributing to the development of a highly professional, performance-based, innovative, and customer-focused organisational culture.
 
What skills are you looking for? 
 
We are looking for an applicant with demonstrated leadership experience in administration management. Relevant qualifications in administration or business would be preferred by not essential. 

We are seeking someone who can demonstrate:

  • Proven high-level executive support experience with advanced office software proficiency
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills demonstrating flexibility, self-motivation, accountability, and strong problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, including document preparation, review, evaluation, and minute-taking experience; and the
  • Ability to work autonomously, manage complex workloads, and perform effectively during high-demand periods whilst maintaining discretion and confidentiality.
