- Remuneration: $42.58 – 56.65 per hour + superannuation + annual leave loading + salary packaging options + RDO's.
THE ROLE:
Calvary Mater Newcastle are seeking a Clinical Trial Coordinator. The Clinical Trial Coordinator is responsible for coordinating conduct and management of designated clinical trials and research projects in the Department of Medical Oncology.
This is a fixed term role until 2028.
DUTIES:
- Ensure effective communication with members of trial unit, trial sponsor and supporting departments within the hospital.
- Ensure effective communication with research participants and their families.
- Maintain effective and efficient processes that ensure quality research.
- Commitment to improving cancer outcomes through quality research.

ABOUT YOU:
- Tertiary Qualifications in Health or Science
- Commitment to improving cancer outcomes through research.
- Demonstrated ability to work proficiently in periods of high demand and activity.
- Demonstrated effective organisational skills including ability to work independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills including development of rapport with patients and families in stressful situations.
- Demonstrated effective communication skills both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated computer literacy in Word, Excel and Outlook (minimum).
