About the Role

As a senior Registered Nurse in our Cardiothoracic ICU, you will:

• Provide advanced, patient-focused care to critically ill and post-operative patients
• Coordinate and delegate shift activities, ensuring safe, timely patient flow
• Oversee the Quality & Risk portfolio and lead continuous improvement initiatives
• Mentor junior staff and support the Nurse Unit Manager in operational decision-making

About You

• AHPRA-registered Registered Nurse with recent ICU experience (Cardiothoracic background desirable)
• Post-graduate qualification in Critical Care Nursing
• Proven leadership skills: able to work autonomously, prioritise under pressure and direct a multidisciplinary team
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal and customer-care skills
