About the role
An exciting opportunity exists for a Facilities Maintenance & Compliance Officer to join the Facilities Management team at Calvary Lenah Valley Hospital, Hobart on a permanent full-time basis.
Reporting to the Facilities Manager, this role is responsible for coordinating asset management and planned and preventative maintenance programs, ensuring compliance with statutory and accreditation requirements across hospital infrastructure, engineering systems and essential services. The role also supports project coordination activities and works closely with internal stakeholders, contractors and external service providers to deliver safe and effective facilities management outcomes.
Your main duties will include:
- Coordinate asset management and preventative maintenance programs
- Monitor compliance with statutory and accreditation requirements
- Support facilities projects and contractor management activities
About you
- Trade, facilities or building-related qualification or experience
- Experience using CMMS maintenance management software
- Knowledge of BCA, Australian Standards and WHS requirements
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to coordinate contractors and manage competing priorities
