About the role
The Graduate Nurse Program Coordinator leads and supports the organisation in providing a structured Graduate Nurse program for Registered and Enrolled Nurses across Lenah Valley and St John’s campuses. The role is responsible for identifying and managing learning opportunities and providing ongoing support for Graduate Nurses across a variety of acute care settings.
Key responsibilities
- Facilitate education relating to all areas of acute care
- Conduct study days to support Graduate Nurse learning
- Collaborate with Learning & Development and ward teams to manage training opportunities
- Build and maintain relationships across departments to support and educate new staff
About you
- AHPRA registration
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment or equivalent
- Demonstrated recent clinical experience in an acute care and/or hospital setting
- Ability to work autonomously, proficiently, and in an organised manner
- Proven ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission-based organisation
