About the role
As a Graduate physiotherapist at Calvary Bruce Private Hospital, your main duties will include:
- Provide physiotherapy services within the Medical, Surgical, Orthopedic, Mental Health Inpatient under the direction and guidance of the relevant Senior Physiotherapist
- Where applicable, provide clinical supervision, support and direction to less senior Physiotherapists, students and Allied Health Assistants as directed by the Senior Physiotherapist.
- This is a temporary position working full-time for a period of 6 months with the possibility of extension into 2027.
- Casual or part-time hours could also be considered.
About you
Essential:
- An appropriate degree in Physiotherapy
- Current unrestricted registration with AHPRA.
- Ability to work a Monday to Friday
- Shift availability between the hours of 8am and 8pm
Desirable:
- Effective communication & interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated competence as a clinician to exercise independent professional judgement on general inpatient management
- Ability to participate in and promote Quality Improvement
- Well-developed time management skills.
- Willingness to participate in a weekend/holiday roster
- Current ACT Driver’s License
- Ability to work some weekends where needed
