About you
 
  • Degree qualification in Social Work with eligibility for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW), including demonstrated compliance with AASW professional standards and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) requirements
  • Demonstrated experience leading healthcare services, including strategic planning, operational management, performance improvement and change management
  • Demonstrated knowledge of acute healthcare social work, including patient flow, care coordination, discharge planning, aged care, guardianship, NDIS and complex care needs
  • Demonstrated experience leading and developing teams through supervision, performance management, coaching, workforce planning and professional development
  • Demonstrated understanding of the healthcare needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and the ability to promote culturally safe practice, support Aboriginal staff and build effective community partnerships
  • Demonstrated ability to build productive relationships with a broad range of stakeholders and effectively manage financial, workforce and service resources
