About the role

The Hospital Assistant role has a very broad range of areas to work in all around the hospital, making this position very sort after due to the varied range of skills that this position provides.

The position is full time that will cover from Monday to Sunday. The post holder will work on a rotating shift basis, rostered 6, 8 and 10 hour depending on the hospital’s requirements.

Your main duties will include:

  • Making and moving bed
  • Assisting in the movement of patients around the hospital
  • Maintaining a cleaning and functioning area
  • Disposal of dirty linen and garbage
  • Assisting nursing staff with hygiene and other patient requirements

About you

  • Experience working in a similar role or environment is preferred
  • Time management and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Ability to build relationships with all stakeholders
