About the role

 

We have an opportunity available for a customer focused applicant to join our team in our Medical Records Department.  The successful candidate will be available to work up to full time, as required, office hours Monday to Friday.  The candidate will have proven organisational skills, exceptional time management with the ability to prioritise own workload – if this sound like you we would love to hear from you.

  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Retrieval and preparation of medical records for patient admissions
  • Retrieval of all medical records for authorised persons on request
  • Data Entry using IPM software
  • Scanning, photocopying, collation and preparation of case notes

Essential Criteria

  • Previous administrative experience working in a health care setting
  • Knowledge of Medical Terminology
  • Demonstrated strong attention to detail and data entry accuracy
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Proven ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
  • Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
