About the role
 
Calvary is seeking a full-time National Wellness Advisor.
 
Working as part of the National Work, Health, Safety and Wellbeing team, the National Wellness Advisor is responsible for the design and implementation of Calvary’s Wellness Program. The position plays a pivotal role in ensuring currency with industry best practices, emerging research, innovative approaches to workplace wellness, and monitors relevant regulatory and sector developments to ensure continuous improvement of the program. 
 
The National Wellness Advisor will also provide support across a range of key WHS initiatives, and partner with relevant stakeholders to implement, monitor and evaluate frameworks that prevent and respond to psychosocial hazards.  
 
National Wellness Advisor main duties will include:
  • Evaluate workforce risks and needs and use these insights to shape health, safety and wellbeing programs that respond accordingly.
  • Contribute to improved morale, reduced sickness absence, enhanced productivity and overall organisational performance by improving worker knowledge and access to support and resources.
  • Collate, analyse, interpret, evaluate and present data regarding health, safety and wellbeing activities for reporting and decision-making purposes
 
About you
  • Bachelor qualification in WHS, Health Science or similar 
  • Experience in the identification and evaluation of workforce risks and needs 
  • Experience working on psychosocial risk management
  • Experience working in the healthcare industry
  • Good understanding of WHS legislative frameworks and associated Australian standards, regulations and codes of safe practice.
