About the Role

Join Adelaide Private Hospital’s dedicated Neurosurgical team at Calvary Adelaide Hospital.

Calvary Adelaide has a specialist Neurosurgical unit, delivering high-quality care to patients undergoing complex neurosurgical procedures. We are seeking experienced and passionate Registered Nurses with a minimum of 2 years’ acute care experience, ideally within surgical or neurosurgical settings, who are committed to delivering exceptional, patient-centred care.

You’ll play a vital role in:

• Delivering safe, high-quality, patient-centred neurosurgical nursing care
• Recognising and responding to acute changes in neurological and clinical conditions
• Managing post-operative neurosurgical patients and complex care needs
• Collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Demonstrating excellent time management, communication and teamwork skills

About You

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Minimum 2 years’ acute care experience (surgical or neurosurgical experience highly regarded)
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a team-focused approach
• Experience scrubbing for spinal and /or cranial procedures
• Computer literacy and effective time management
• A positive, proactive attitude and commitment to patient-centred care
