About the role
 
There is an opportunity for a fixed term Nurse Unit Manager role in our Orthopaedic ward. We are a 37 bed acute surgical ward, caring for post operative Orthopaedic patients. 
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the ward to achieve financial KPIs, labour, and efficiency targets.
  • Ensure excellence in patient care and a safe working environment.
  • Oversee incident reporting and implementation of corrective actions.
  • Uphold Calvary and Government Health policies, Code of Conduct, and industrial agreements.

What You Bring:

  • AHPRA Registration and recent acute care/hospital experience.
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and management skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
