About the role

An exciting leadership opportunity is available for an experienced Nurse Unit Manager to lead the Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory at Calvary St Vincent’s Hospital, Launceston.

This is a full‑time, permanent role, providing clinical and operational leadership within a high‑acuity procedural environment. You will work collaboratively with senior medical staff and multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, high‑quality patient care while driving service improvement and staff development.

Your main duties will include:

  • Leadership and operational management of the Cardiac Cath Lab
  • Clinical governance, risk management and quality improvement
  • Workforce management, performance and staff development

 

About you

  • Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
  • Experience leading teams in a procedural or critical care setting
  • Demonstrated knowledge of clinical governance and quality systems
  • Strong communication, leadership and change management skills
  • Commitment to patient‑centred, high‑quality care
