About the role
An exciting hospital based acute and rehabilitation role, working across multiple wards in a newly established state of the art health care facility. Providing Clinical Facilitation for Occupational Therapy Students. As well as providing Occupational Therapy assessment and interventions as part of a multi-disciplinary team, assisting patients to achieve health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate the clinical education of Adelaide University Occupational Therapy students.
- Provide Occupational Therapy to a diverse caseload.
- Participate in the multi-disciplinary management of patients throughout their healthcare journey.
- Provide supervision and guidance to team members.
- Contribute to the development and evaluation of high quality services, particularly the development of a clinical placement structure.
- Participate in professional development and education of colleagues.
What you bring
- Full practicing AHPRA registration.
- Experience in Occupational Therapy assessment and interventions, not suitable for new graduates.
- Experience with Clinical Facilitation of Occupational Therapy University placements preferred.
- Comprehensive knowledge of relevant disease, conditions and hospital presentations.
- High quality communication, teamwork and organisation skills.
- Experience and interest in Quality Improvement and Service Development activities
- A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation.
- Current drivers’ license is preferable.
