Calvary Hobart
Pastoral Carer - Casual
About the role
Working as a Pastoral Carer for Calvary is a profound privilege. Each day we are invited into the sacred space of another person’s vulnerability as they navigate their way through the highs and lows of their medical journey. You will be joining a remarkable team of Pastoral Care Practitioners who work as part of multidisciplinary teams providing holistic care to our patients. Our Pastoral Care department stands out as a high functioning team of dedicated staff with a positive culture. You will have access to regular Professional Development as well as individual and group clinical supervision.
This is a casual position. While effort will be made to provide some regular weekly hours, there is no guarantee of regular and predictable shifts. You will be called upon to cover holiday leave, sick leave and help meet hospital needs during peak periods. Some weeks may be without shifts and others will have work every other day. As such, this role is not suitable for those who require a stable income or who have significant inflexible commitments elsewhere.
