As Patient Liaison Officer you will play a pivotal role in the Patient Services Department by providing accurate and timely information to patients, relatives and staff about the use of private health insurance in a public hospital as well as other Chargeable classifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensuring all admission documentation is signed in accordance with policy.
• Runing daily reports.
• Maintaining statistics.
• Conducting insurance eligibility checks.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to engage effectively and respectfully with a diverse range of people.
• Proven high level of attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all aspects of work.
• Strong time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet competing deadlines.

Role details

• Permanent Full-Time
• Salary Classification: Admin Officer Level 3 Yr 1-2.
• Remuneration: $35.84 to $36.96 per hour + superannuation + annual leave loading + salary packaging options.
