About the role
 
Based within The Bruce Private Hospital, we have a number of roles along with a Team leader to join our Perioperative team as Ward Persons. 

To succeed in this role, you will be an effective and approachable administrative professional with a passion for client care and a high standard of customer-focused service in line with Calvarycare values. 

 
Your main duties will include:
  • Greet patients and visitors
  • Admitting/Discharging patients 
  • Responds to patient queries via telephone and/or email
  • Scheduling appointments
  • Processing new referrals and discharge paperwork
  • Organise paperwork for filing and medical records
  • Proven leadership or supervisory experience 
  • The ability to share your extensive knowledge of perioperative equipment applications and management
  • Commitment to enhance service efficiency and high level of service provision to perioperative surgical teams
About you: 
For the team leader role, we need you to have: 
  • Proven leadership or supervisory experience 
  • The ability to share your extensive knowledge of perioperative equipment applications and management
  • Commitment to enhance service efficiency and high level of service provision to perioperative surgical teams

For the Wardsperson role we need: 

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Reliability and a strong work ethic
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills as well as excellent computer skills

Please note these roles are Permanent full-time roles.
