About the role
Plan, coordinate and deliver high quality Physiotherapy care to rehabilitation clients consistent with Calvary Health Care Kogarah policies, and Calvary Health Care Kogarah and South Eastern Sydney Local Health District (SESLHD) procedures and standards.
This position will cover Maternity Leave from late April 2026 and rotate across Rehabilitation Services within Calvary Health Care Kogarah i.e. In-patient Rehabilitation Unit (IRU), Day Rehabilitation Unit (DRU) and Transitional Aged Care Service (TACS).
Your main duties will include:
- Assess, plan, organise, deliver, and evaluate the provision of high-quality Physiotherapy care in accordance with the Physiotherapy Board AHPRA, Calvary Health Care Kogarah, NSW Health, and SESLHD policies and clinical practices, to achieve patient/client health outcomes within specified timeframes.
- Consult and liaise with health care professionals within the multi-disciplinary team to establish coordinated and continuity of care to patients/clients.
About you
- Recognised qualification in Physiotherapy in accordance with Schedule C of the NSW Health Service Health Professionals (State) Award, current registration with AHPRA Physiotherapy Board of Australia, and demonstrated commitment to continuing professional development.
- Demonstrated core competency skills in Physiotherapy relevant to the organisation
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and to exercise independent professional judgement in the provision of clinical care using evidence-based practice, commensurate with years of experience.
- Demonstrated high level written, verbal and interpersonal skills, including a demonstrated sensitivity to the cultural needs of older patients and their carers.
- Demonstrated high level organisational skills with the ability to respond to the demands and pressures of the role while managing time effectively.
- Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement processes and ability to use professional and clinical digital technologies.
Current unrestricted NSW Class C drivers licence or equivalent and a current working with children check. - Ability to work within the Mission and Values of Calvary Health Care Kogarah.
