About the role
As the Registered Nurse you are responsible for providing clinical leadership to staff and ensuring compliance with legislative requirements to enable us to continue to deliver a high standard of care, services and most importantly a quality lifestyle for our residents. Calvary Trevu House in Gawler East are looking for Compassionate casual and reliable Registered Nurses to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Work in accordance with the mission and vision of Calvary and actively participate in developing a culture that promotes
Calvary’s values of healing, hospitality, stewardship and respect. - Working collaboratively with the Clinical Care Coordinator to ensure quality care outcomes are met and review reporting across
the home - Understand and continually monitor the needs of each resident and any changes in their clinical condition or needs for example
behaviour, hydration nutrition, continence, dental hygiene, cognition, mobility or deterioration including end of life care - Timely assessment and treatment of residents when care concerns have been escalated or an incident has occurred
About you
- Compassionate, Caring and Resident focused
- Registered Nurse with current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Experience in Aged Care preferred
- Willingness to work as part of a team, with ability to work independantly
- A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
