• Registered Nurse- PACU Level 2 RN
• Mandatory: Registered as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

1. Demonstrates evidence of advanced clinical knowledge and problem solving skills at an advanced level in PACU. i.e. Post graduate qualifications in nursing or working towards the same or extensive experience in PACU
2. Demonstrated experience and clinical competency in the field of PACU Nursing.
3. Demonstrated knowledge, application and competency standards of the Australian College of Operating Room Nurses, Infection Control – AS5369 and HICMR
4. Competence in use of computer applications relevant to the work area operating systems, word processing and clinical information systems e.g. IPM, Riskman and Kronos
5. Demonstrated clinical leadership skills and ability to practice and influence others within a professional and ethical framework that reflects the values of the organisation.
6. Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development of self and others
7. Demonstrated understanding and participation in clinical research, quality improvement, auditing processes, procedure development and implementation.
8. Demonstrated knowledge of appropriate legislation that relates to the position i.e. WHS legislation, EEO legislation
