About you

As a Level 2 Endoscopy Nurse, you will work closely with consultants and multidisciplinary teams to support diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures while ensuring exceptional patient safety and comfort.  You will be heavily engaged with maintaining our rigid ICP and staff competencies to attain the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Practice with advanced Endoscopy Nursing knowledge and skills supporting the multidisciplinary team
  • Oversee the management of the Endoscopy equipment and associated Infection Control Practices to the highest level.
  • Demonstrate clinical leadership skills and ability to practice and influence others within a professional and ethical framework that reflects the values of the organisation.
  • Demonstrated understanding and participation in quality improvement, auditing processes, procedure development and implementation

What you bring 

  • AHPRA Registration
  • Demonstrated recent and extensive clinical Endoscopy Nursing experience in an acute care and/or hospital setting
  • Ability to work unsupervised, proficiently and in an organised manner during periods of high demand and activity
  • Demonstrated communication, interpersonal skills and customer service skills
  • A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
  • Strong Computer Literacy to manage endoscopy reporting systems and hospital digital data systems
