 About the role

As the Registered Nurse you are responsible for providing clinical leadership to staff and ensuring compliance with legislative requirements to enable us to continue to deliver a high standard of care, services and most importantly a quality lifestyle for our residents. 

Seeking Registered nurses for Calvary Home Care to deliver acute nursing care in our Client's Home. This position is offered as a permanent full time role. This role is based in Darwin but will oversea both Darwin/Tiwi Islands at times when required. 

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all clinical aspects of Darwin, as well as Tiwi clients when required.
• Independently and interdependently, assume accountability and responsibility for your own actions and delegation of care to Enrolled Nurses and Support Workers within program, state/territory and CCC guidelines.
• Provide evidence-based nursing care to people of all ages and cultural groups, including individuals, families and communities.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary health care team so as to achieve goals and health outcomes for Calvary Home Care clients.
• Promote and maintain the health and prevention of illness for individuals with physical or mental illness, disabilities and/or rehabilitation needs, as well as alleviation of pain and suffering at the end stage of life.

What you bring 

• AHPRA nursing registration -Registered Nurse
• Full and valid Drivers Licence and a Reliable and Insured Car
• 2 years minimum experience in community nursing or residential aged care nursing.
• Based in Darwin with ability to start and finish work from home as required
• The ability to work autonomously
• Experience in acute nursing care in the client's home
• Police Clearance or willingness to obtain one 
• NDIS Clearance or willingness to obtain one
