About the role

Calvary are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Registered Nurse to join the Day Surgery Unit (DSU/DOSA) team, within the Peri-operative Suite at St Vincent's Hospital. St Vincent's theatre specialises in Gynaecological, Dental, Plastics, Urology and General surgery. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate pre & post operative nursing care in collaboration with the patient and the multidisciplinary health care team. 
• Take an active role in the coordination of nursing cares and be able to demonstrate the ability to work independently and within a team, assuming accountability and responsibility for their own actions, and where applicable, delegation of care.

What you bring 

• A minimum of 1year experience Nursing post grad.
• Current APHRA certification.
• Ability and drive to be adaptable and a 'Team Player'.
• Driven to learn and expand your own knowledge base, as well as guide and support other staff.
• A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation, demonstrated communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
