About you

The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing safe, effective and appropriate patient care in a patient-focused environment. The successful applicant will work primarily in the Special Care Nursery and Maternity Unit. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Bubble CPAP competent
  • Caring for premature infants in the Special Care Nursery environment
  • Supporting parents in the care of their infants
  • Feeding support for premature infants

What you bring 

  • Registered Nurse with a minimum of 3 years Postgraduate experience
  • Experience in the NICU or Special Care Nursery
  • Bubble CPAP experience and competency
  • AHPRA Registration
  • Demonstrated recent clinical experience in an acute care and/or hospital setting
  • Ability to work unsupervised, proficiently and in an organised manner during periods of high demand and activity
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team
  • Demonstrated communication, interpersonal skills and customer service skills
  • A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
