About you
The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing safe, effective and appropriate patient care in a patient-focused environment. The successful applicant will work primarily in the Special Care Nursery and Maternity Unit.
Key Responsibilities
- Bubble CPAP competent
- Caring for premature infants in the Special Care Nursery environment
- Supporting parents in the care of their infants
- Feeding support for premature infants
What you bring
- Registered Nurse with a minimum of 3 years Postgraduate experience
- Experience in the NICU or Special Care Nursery
- Bubble CPAP experience and competency
- AHPRA Registration
- Demonstrated recent clinical experience in an acute care and/or hospital setting
- Ability to work unsupervised, proficiently and in an organised manner during periods of high demand and activity
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrated communication, interpersonal skills and customer service skills
- A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
