About you
We are looking for an experienced Scrub/Scout to join our team at Calvary Central Districts Hospital as a Registered Nurse. This role can range from a 0.4 FTE - 0.8 FTE. (2 - 4days a week)
At Calvary Central Districts Hospital (CCDH), our operating theatre suite features:
- 4 Operating Theatres
- Our specialties include Orthopaedics, Gynaecology, General Surgery, Gastroenterology, Urology, ENT, Oral & Maxillofacial, Plastics & reconstructive, and Ophthalmology
- Caring for both Adult and Paediatric surgical patients
Our theatres operate over a 6-day rotating roster (Mon-Sat) with early and late shifts - No Night Shift required. After hours emergency theatres are supported by our On-call roster with an experienced nursing team.
What you bring
- AHPRA Registration
- Theatre robotic experience is highly desirable
- Orthopaedic scrub/scout experience highly desirable
- Minimum 2+ years Clinical experience in Scrub Scout Role
- Experience in Anaesthetics and Recovery
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrated communication, interpersonal skills and customer service skills
- A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
