As a Registered Nurse you will be responsible for providing safe, effective and appropriate patient care in a patient-focused environment.

Ward 5C is an 18–22 bed inpatient unit specializing in the care and treatment of patients with both malignant and non-malignant haematological conditions. Our team on 5C is well-established and highly skilled, offering a welcoming, supportive environment. We pride ourselves on delivering complex, compassionate care to a diverse group of patients.

Role details

Permanent Full-Time / Part-Time / Casual roles available
Salary Classification: Registered Nurse, Year 1-8.
Remuneration: $36.38 - $51.08 per hour + superannuation + annual leave loading + salary packaging options + RDO's

INCENTIVE: UP TO $2,000 RELOCATION INCENTIVE BY NEGOTIATION

Selection criteria (Essential)

Registered Nurse authorised to practise by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Demonstrated recent clinical experience in an acute care and/or hospital setting and a genuine interest in haematology nursing.
Ability to work unsupervised, proficiently and in an organised manner during periods of high demand and activity
Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team
Demonstrated excellent communication, interpersonal skills and customer service skills

Pre-employment conditions:

Be an Australian citizen, permanent resident or hold a visa with unlimited rights to work in Australia.
Successfully complete pre-employment checks. Checks include: reference checks, work rights, criminal history check and WWCC.
Provide evidence of immunisation as required for the role.
