About the role
What you bring
- Registered Nurse with APHRA
- At least five years of nursing experience and a keen attitude to learn
- ALS Accredited (ideally)
- Kindness and respect for those around you
- Ability to work proficiently and in an organised manner during periods of high demand and activity
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrated communication, interpersonal skills and customer service skills
- A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
- Valid authority to work in Australia
- Ideally ICU/CCU experience
- Open to 0.5 FTE to 1.0 FTE
Your main duties will include:
- Managing complex patients, families and working in a team.
- Managing inotropes/vasopressors
- Post operative cares
Selection Criteria
- Registered Nurse authorised to practise by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- 5 years recent clinical experience and demonstrated commitment to professional development
- Demonstrated ability to work as an effective member of a multidisciplinary team with excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to proactively engage with patients to understand their needs
- Commitment to uphold the Mission, Vision and Values of Calvary Health Care at all times
