About you

The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing safe, effective and appropriate patient care in a patient-focused environment. Based in Lenah Valley, Hobart. We are a small, dedicated team specialising in cardiac angiography/angioplasty and pacing, vascular angiography and open procedures, as well as cerebral angiography and interventions. Monday to Friday 7am - 6pm.

Essential: 

    • Registered with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
    • Commitment to continuing professional development
    • Demonstrated knowledge of current nursing issues and practices pertaining to position
    • Demonstrated understanding of risk management
    • Demonstrated experience working in a team environment
    • A willingness to learn and develop expertise in specialty

       

    Desirable:

    • Post graduate qualification relevant to the clinical area/coronary care or critical care
    • Basic computer skills
    • 5 years clinical experience as a Registered Nurse
    • Previous experience in similar role

 

  • Demonstrated recent clinical experience in an acute care and/or hospital setting
  • Ability to work unsupervised, proficiently and in an organised manner during periods of high demand and activity
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team
  • Demonstrated communication, interpersonal skills and customer service skills
  • A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
