About you
Calvary Riverina is looking for exceptional Graduate Nurses across the Riverina and Australia to join our team. We will give you the best first-year Transition to Professional Practice development program in return.
Key Responsibilities
The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing safe, effective and appropriate patient care in a patient focused environment. The Graduate Transition Program (GNTP) consists of 2 rotations, 6-month duration. The GNTP contracts are offered at a minimum of 0.8 FTE (4 days/32 hours per week) to full time. The GNTP allocates an orientation program and 5 designated study days throughout the year. You will work closely with an allocated preceptor on each of your rotations. You will be required to work a rotating roster which includes night duty.

What you bring
- Eligibility for registration with AHPRA
- Demonstrated recent clinical experience in an acute care and/or hospital setting
- Ability to work unsupervised, proficiently and in an organised manner during periods of high demand and activity
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrated communication, interpersonal skills and customer service skills
- A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission-based organisation
