About the role

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the provision of comprehensive care of a specific group of patients while supporting: Enrolled Nurses, Assistants in nursing, Medical staff and Allied Health. Giving direct care to a specific patient population within each unit. Using a patient centred approach to patient assessment. Maintaining continuity of care for each patient. Evaluating outcomes of care and initiating appropriate follow-up. To maintain a discharge plan for each patient from admission to discharge. To participate in the team leader role.

 
Your main duties will include:
  • Giving direct care to a specific patient population within each unit.
  • Using a patient centred approach to patient assessment.
  • Ensure that all documentation is accurate and completed in a professional and timely manner.
 
About you
  • AHPRA Registration
  • Demonstrated recent clinical experience in an acute care and/or hospital setting
  • Ability to work unsupervised, proficiently and in an organised manner during periods of high demand and activity
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team
  • Demonstrated communication, interpersonal skills and customer service skills
  • A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
