About you

The Registered Nurse Level 2  is responsible for providing safe, effective and appropriate patient care in a patient-focused environment.

Your main duties will include:
  • Promotes and participates in team building and decision-making in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
  • Subscribes to personal / professional development and facilitates the personal / professional development of others
  • Initiates and implements quality nursing care informed by best practice.
  • Provides advanced clinical care to patients.
  • Uses effective communication skills when interacting with patients, significant others and other health professionals. Acts as a client advocate, collaborating to achieve optimum health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates effective communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work in a collegiate team environment.
  • Recent experience in the nursing speciality related to the position, including relevant advanced clinical and problem solving skills, including executing fast-paced discharge planning
  • Demonstrates effective leadership, mentoring and coaching skills.

What you bring 

  • AHPRA Registration
  • Demonstrated recent clinical experience in an acute care hospital setting
  • Ability to work unsupervised, proficiently and in an organised manner during periods of high demand and activity
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team
  • Demonstrated communication, interpersonal skills and customer service skills
  • A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
