 About the role

We are seeking a Level 2 RN Scrub/Scout for our Operating Theatres.

The Level 2 Registered Nurse is responsible for the provision of direct nursing care utilising clinical skills, education and support to patients and nursing staff within the Perioperative Services department, and ensuring best practice and quality patient care. As a nurse specialising in Scrub/Scout, you will be responsible for the provision of comprehensive, safe and holistic care for patients throughout the perioperative period.

This is a permanent full or part time (0.6 to 1 FTE) opportunity, at Calvary Lenah Valley private hospital.

What you bring 

• Registration with AHPRA and in possession of a current practising certificate
• Knowledge and proven understanding of ACORN and the NSQHS standards
• Demonstrated clinical competence in area of specialty if required.
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
• Ability to work with within a team and establish a positive team culture
• Post graduate studies completed relevant to perioperative area (or currently working towards)
• A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
