About the Opportunity
As part of our dedicated pre-procedure team, you'll conduct thorough patient assessments, provide education and support, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This role combines clinical expertise with compassionate patient care in a well-established healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive pre-procedure assessments and health screenings
- Provide patient education regarding upcoming procedures and post-operative care
- Collaborate with surgeons, anaesthetists, and allied health professionals
- Maintain accurate documentation and clinical records
- Support anxious patients and their families throughout the process
- Registered Nurse currently authorised to practise by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, NSW (AHPRA).
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development, with evidence of continued education in Perioperative and/or Anaesthetic Nursing.
- Recent and relevant clinical experience in coordinating and managing care for patients with complex clinical conditions.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Proven ability to work independently and as an effective member of a multidisciplinary team.

Employment details
Salary Classification: Registered Nurse Year 2 to 8
Remuneration: $39.51 to $52.62 per hour + super + annual leave loading
