Location: Calvary Launceston, TAS, Australia

Position Type: Permanent – Full-time and Part-time opportunities! 

Join Calvary St Vincent’s Hospital Launceston and become part of one of Tasmania’s leading private Operating Theatre suites. We are expanding and seeking dedicated Registered Nurses to join our high-performing, multidisciplinary team providing exceptional perioperative care.

About the Department:

  • Calvary St Vincent’s Hospital offers:
  • 4 Operating Theatres, with expansion underway to 6 ORs
  • A wide range of surgical specialties including Orthopaedics, General Surgery, Urology, Colorectal, Dental, ENT, Plastics, and Vascular
  • A supportive 5-day rotating roster with on-call requirements, comprehensive orientation, and ongoing clinical education

What You’ll Bring:

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
  • Experience in a perioperative setting (Scrub/Scout, Recovery, or Anaesthetics)
  • A commitment to safe, high-quality, person-centred care
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills in a dynamic theatre environment
  • Willingness to participate in on-call and rotating roster arrangements
