- Remuneration: $41.23 - $57.88 per hour + superannuation + annual leave loading + salary packaging options
Ward 4B is a 30-bed unit providing care to adult patients across a broad range of surgical specialties. These include, but are not limited to, general surgery, colorectal, stomal therapy, gastroenterology, plastics, management of skin lesions (including melanoma), oncology-related procedures such as mastectomy and breast reconstruction (DIEP), and cardiothoracic surgery.
Successful applicants will have the opportunity to build their clinical capability in surgical nursing, including the development of advanced skills in managing patients requiring 1:1 acute post-operative care, supported by an experienced clinical education team.
- Registered Nurse authorised to practice by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Recent demonstrated experience in an acute care and/or hospital setting as a Registered Nurse
- Ability to work unsupervised and proficiently and in an organised manner during periods of high demand
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of the multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrated communication, interpersonal and customer service skills
- Demonstrated commitment to own personal and professional development
