About the role
As a full-time Revenue Officer, you will be a key member of the Revenue Team, supporting the efficient delivery of revenue processes across Calvary's Private Hospitals. Reporting to the Health Fund Billing and Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for hospital billing, debt collection, compliance auditing, and providing operational and administrative support to the team. Working collaboratively with internal stakeholders and private health insurers, you will help ensure accurate revenue management and compliance with health fund contractual requirements while maintaining a high standard of customer service and accuracy.
Your main duties will include:
- Generation of claims to Health Funds, Patients and other Third Parties
- Process, allocate and reconcile payments received
- Monitoring and follow up of outstanding debtors’ balances
- Undertake internal compliance audits and implement any required corrective actions
- Provide support with coordination and processing of Health Fund audits
About you
- Experience and sound knowledge of health fund contracts and billing rules
- Proficient in the use of Patient Administration Systems, including WebPAS and iPM
- Demonstrated experience in billing and accounts receivable within a private hospital
- Highly developed communication skills, both written and verbal
