About the role
Calvary John James Hospital in Deakin ACT offers an extensive range of health care services to the capital region. As Quality Risk and Safety Manager you will work on-site at the hospital in Deakin ACT.
This is a full time role working collaboratively with clinical and corporate managers ensuring safe care for our community through quality processes. Calvary John James Hospital achieved certification against Version 2 of the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards in August 2024.

Your main duties will include:
- Responsible for the management and co-ordination of CJJH Risk Management, Quality and Safety programs
- Management of incident reporting system.
- Encourage and assist staff in undertaking Quality Activities
About you
- Registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency (AHPRA)
- Bachelor of Nursing Degree or equivalent
- Recent senior nursing operational or management experience in area
- Proven leadership style with the ability to motivate staff to achieve excellence in patient care.
- Demonstrated knowledge of accreditation requirements, quality improvement and risk management.
- Committed to a customer focused service.
- Demonstrated excellent correspondence and report writing skills.
- Post graduate qualifications related to Leadership Management and Quality Improvement (Desirable)
