Salary Classification: Administration Officer Level 4 Year 1 - 2
Remuneration: $37.91 to $38.78 per hour + super + annual leave loading
About the Role
The Administration Officer is responsible for providing effective administration assistance and operational support to Allied Health Departments including Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Dietetics and Speech Therapy. Utilising well developed administration and organisational skills, the administration officer will participate in activities across all key operational aspects of the departments.
Your main duties will include:

Supporting Heads of Department and clinical teams (Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Dietetics and Speech Therapy).

Managing office supplies, procurement and secure storage.

Maintaining and coordinating servicing of office and clinical equipment.

Organising meetings (scheduling, preparation, minute taking and distribution).

Assisting with roster and leave management via the payroll system.

Supporting quality improvement and benchmarking activities, including data entry, reporting, and document formatting.

Ensuring timely and professional communication across departments.
About you (Selection Criteria)
- Demonstrated skills, ability, and experience in providing customer focused administration services in a health, social or human service sector or equivalent. Excellent interpersonal communication, negotiation and collaboration skills and ability to respond courteously and confidently to clients and staff.
- Demonstrated skills and ability to work collaboratively as part of multidisciplinary teams and provide administration support for multiple clinicians.
- Excellent business writing skills including accurate spelling, good comprehension, and ability to produce professional documents, including meeting minutes and reports. Superior word processing and typing skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Demonstrated high level computer and information technology literacy. Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel spreadsheets and desktop publishing.
- Demonstrated organisational, analytical, sensible judgement and problem-solving skills, required to work independently and efficiently, within the scope of the role, to undertake a diverse range of office and clinical administration functions, to monitor workflow, manage priorities and anticipate upcoming challenges.
