- Remuneration: $38.51 - $59.94 per hour + superannuation + annual leave loading + salary packaging options
This is an excellent opportunity for a Social Worker to join our dedicated team at Calvary Mater Newcastle. The successful candidate will contribute to the provision of a social work service to our patients / clients and their families.

We are an Affiliated Health Organisation providing services to both public and private patients primarily from the Hunter New England area. Our health services and clinics include Oncology, Coronary Care and Cardiology, Surgery, Intensive Care, General Medicine, Research and 24/7 Emergency Care.

ABOUT YOU:
- Bachelor of Social Work or other equivalent qualification and eligible for membership of the AASW
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills in building and maintaining professional relationships
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrated ability to liaise with and maintain effective links with relevant external organisations
- Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritise and organise own work / caseload
