About the role
 
The Social Work Team Leader CCH is responsible for the professional leadership, guidance and line management of the Calvary Community Health Social Work Team. This position will provide clinical supervision and support to Level 1/2 CCH social workers in relation to clinical standards of practice and service delivery. 
The Team Leader is responsible for the provision of an effective clinical service within their clinical caseload. They will demonstrate advanced reasoning skills and will be responsible for providing high level consultancy to staff within Calvary Health Care on relevant professional matters. 
 
About you
  • Degree in Social Work and eligibility for membership of AASW
  • Extensive post graduate social work clinical experience in a health care setting with demonstrated expertise in aged care
  • Excellent communication, organisation and negotiation skills along with a high level of computer literacy
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate workplace change 
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate Quality Improvement programmes 
  • Demonstrated experience with staff management and supervision 
  • Current Class C driver’s licence
  • Ability to work within the Mission and Values of Calvary Health Care Kogarah
