About the role
As a Home Care Support Worker your role will be to assist a diverse range of clients including aged and high needs clients with activities of daily living and providing support services such as Domestic Assistance, Social Support, Respite and Personal Care at their home and in the community.
We are currently seeking Permanent Part-Time staff for a minimum of 15 hours per week. Applicants must be available to work at least four weekdays per week, including Mondays and Fridays, between 7:00 am and 1:00 pm. Candidates with greater availability are highly encouraged to apply.
About you
- A Certificate III in Aged Care, Home and Community Care, Disability or Individual Support (Essential)
- Current and valid Driver’s Licence, comprehensively insured, reliable motor vehicle and smart mobile phone (Essential)
- ACT Working with Vulnerable People Card (Essential)
- Capacity to embrace a role that is meaningful for the community and yourself
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with a customer service orientation
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage time
- Proficiency in use of technology such as smart phones, email and internet
- A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission-based organisation
