About the role
Our Registered Nurses in surgical admissions and day surgery, form a key part of the patient’s journey through the perioperative suite at Calvary Bruce Private Hospital. They conduct health assessments and admit patients for surgery, care for patients post operatively and facilitate patient education before discharge.

 

About You 

You will be a compassionate Registered Nurse with a minimum of 1 year experience of working in a perioperative setting.

Mandatory:

  • Current nursing registration with AHPRA
  • Effective interpersonal and written communication skills
  • 12 months Surgical Ward experience or equivalent 
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Advanced problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and prioritise workloads
  • Strong desire to successfully enhance team performance and experience in a mission based organisation
