About the role
Your main duties will include:
- Provide effective Clinical Hands-on leadership, supervision, and support to Ward Support Officers across the perioperative department.
- Act as the first point of contact for operational issues affecting Ward Support Officers during shifts.
- Foster a positive, respectful, and professional team culture.
- Commitment to quality patient care, focusing on teamwork, customer service and safety
- Ensure that the team undertake safe manual handling, positioning and mobilization of patients
About you
- Demonstrated extensive experience within a perioperative setting.
- Extensive knowledge of perioperative equipment applications and management
- Proven leadership or supervisory experience
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a high-pressure environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Sound knowledge of workplace health and safety principle
